Scholarships Offered
Full-Term
Covers your studies from the start
Mid-Term
Available if you are already studying; recipients receive retrospective reimbursements.
For mid-term scholars, applications must be submitted before the commencement of the final year of undergraduate studies.
Bond Periods
3 years for local studies
5 years for overseas studies


Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be Singapore Citizens and either current students or graduates with one of the following qualifications:
- GCE A-Level
- International Baccalaureate (IB)
- Polytechnic Diploma
- Currently pursuing an eligible Undergraduate Programme(s)
Eligible Institutions:
Local Universities: NUS, NTU, SMU, SIT, SUTD, SUSS Overseas Universities: Top 100 globally (QS World University Rankings)
Fields of Study:
All disciplines are welcome, except for Veterinary, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Music, Arts, and Architecture.

Frequently Asked Questions
The scholarship is open to Singapore Citizens who are pursuing or intending to pursue undergraduate studies at the six local universities or at overseas universities ranked in the QS Top 100.
We welcome applications from all fields of study, except Veterinary, Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Music, Arts, and Architecture.
Applicants may apply with an GCE A-Level, International Baccalaureate, Polytechnic Diploma, or as eligible current undergraduates.
The NTUC Scholarship is awarded either at the start of undergraduate studies (Full-Term) or partway through (Mid-Term). Both provide full coverage, with bond duration depending on whether you study locally (3 years) or overseas (5 years). Mid-Term Scholars will receive retrospective payments.
The scholarship provides comprehensive coverage, including tuition fees, living allowance, accommodation, books, one-off reimbursements, and internship opportunities. Additional benefits apply for overseas scholars.

Yes. You may pursue overseas exchange programmes as part of your university studies, with the scholarship covering programme costs and return airfare.
Course changes are subject to approval and will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
You will start as an Industrial Relations Officers (IRO) after graduating, before undertaking job rotations across NTUC and its network.
No. You are expected to hold only the NTUC Scholarship, as it provides full support for your undergraduate studies.
